Hello, I'm Sesethu Sitshinga. I'm a born-again Christian from a small town in South Africa. My passion for hair started at a young age, but being the youngest in my family, I couldn't experiment on their hair. Nevertheless, I began braiding and experimenting on my own hair at the age of 12. Due to limited knowledge on natural hair care, I experienced issues like hair thinning, breakage, shedding, and traction alopecia.
I decided to grow dreadlocks for a while, but that journey was short-lived. Three years later, I transitioned back to natural hair with a mission to learn how to care for it properly. Along this journey, I not only mastered hair care but also started manufacturing natural hair products. There's no one more determined to solve a problem than someone who's directly faced it!
Creative Director
Ziganekozihle Makhetha, a multifaceted creative force, is not only a filmmaker, actor, and overall creative visionary but also the Creative Director at Devotions Hairline. With a strong commitment to authentic storytelling, she is also the founder of WANTOW FILM Productions, dedicated to producing genuine African narratives. Ziganekozihle believes in the power of cinema and art to reflect marginalized societies, advocating for self-representation through creative expression.
Marketing Director
Nolubabalo Xoshobe is a passionate advocate for natural hair and a dedicated Food Scientist with a specialisation in Food Quality. Her fascination with kinky hair strands has led her to not only provide nutrition for the body but also for the hair through her involvement with Devotions Hairline.
Within the company, Nolubabalo serves as the Marketing Director, leveraging her enthusiasm for communication, community engagement, and sharing her expertise on natural hair care.
